15th August Celebration

On the 15^th August every year there is a big party in Parga. This is the celebration of the anniversary when the people of Parga returned to Parga from Corfu after this part of the world had been invaded and ruled by the Turks.

There were thousands of people all along the harbour front in Parga, all waiting for the ceremonial arrival of the little boats followed by an absolutely amazing firework display.

It truly was an amazing night!
