Singapore's Sex Show

Today has been our last day in Singapore so we headed out to the famous Singapore Zoo! We took 3 different local buses to arrive at the zoo but the last bus driver was the best. As we arrived he shouted "zoo" and made a monkey noise (this is after trying to chat up Therese by discussing Norway and by discussing I mean saying "Ah, Norway" over and over). He gave us directions to where to get the tickets and sent us off with a See you later  and yet another animal noise. The people here are fantastic, so nice and helpful.

The Zoo was all about the love today we encountered several sex shows, evidence below, and other mating rituals.
As promised, sex show evidence!
We were also privileged to a wide range of animal genitalia and urination, we clearly bring out the best in animals!

A natural poser
Our dear cousins are not afraid to flaunt it
The best attempt to a mating ritual was the little dance routine one of the monkeys decided to put on for us and Therese fell hook, line and sink. He decided to finish off his show with a little masturbation as well, I was to shocked at this stage to be able to get you any evidence of this but without further ado, I present to you, Therese's boyfriend:
Woop, here he is...

Therese's has found her place among the primates

Our favorite animals of the Zoo were the Orangutans partly because one of the rangers came up to us and told as a little bit more about them and their toys, for example, the silver box one of them is playing with is a food puzzle box. They will have to figure out how to move the grapes in the box, with the help of a stick, from one end to the other to be able to get hold of them. As you can see there were no fences or glass cages where they were kept, the only thing that separated us was the water, as monkeys don't swim. But they could swing over to the surrounding trees and some were swinging above our heads. The ranger told us that it was no problem and the very rarely escaped, except for a few times when they had found some of them by the tiger..

The sea lions were lovely as well as they were swimming around, jumping and having fun in the water. They were also putting on some sort of mating rituals and couples routine. Especially unlike the polar bear which was all alone in a pool looking very bored and lonely, barely moving.
The Sea Lions had a little "love dance"
And then, then there were the elephants that put on a lovely little playful show for us, picking up hats and placing them on their heads and finally having a synchronized dance in the water before the feeding frenzy began.

One of the things that touched us the most was the "YOU BUY THEY DIE" campaign they had throughout the park. We sat in on a Rainforest fights back show and they finished off by highlighting this campaign and the fact that all of these exquisite animals are getting extinct because of our doing and it is time for us, their biggest enemy, to reach out a hand and become their supporters, to save their existence. They finished off their speech by putting on Michael Jackson's We Are the World which of course just highlighted the concept which was already echoed throughout the park. It was such a good way for people to truly reflect on the value of animals and how we are treating them and their natural habitat. Well done Singapore Zoo!
